Thursday:
Christian (~
ketchumcc) came over around 10-10:30AM and we went to IHOP for breakfast. Around 11:30 Chris (~
AllWhoWander) called me. It seems him Tiff (~
ArtistOfImagination) and his friend Will got to my house 30 minutes earlier then they said they would. Christian has to get gas for the sweet car he rented and we needed to stop by an ATM. Didn't get to my house until 12PM. >< I gave Tiff and Chris their birthday gifts. They liked what I got them. On our way to the hotel we had to stop by Chris' house. It seems some stuff was forgotten.
We got to the hotel after 3PM. Which is good because I forgot to call the night before so we could get our room sooner. We had no microwave in out room. T_T We also didn't go food shopping. There was a pool in our hotel so we went swimming after we picked up out badges. Swimming wasn't to bad. They also have a hot tube. Christian loved the hot tube. Swimming was fun, except when I got water in my eye. Water + my eyes don't mix. Later that night we ordered from a pizza place because it was the only thing open. It took almost two hours for us to get our food. >< We at literally right before bed. My tummy hurt all night because of it. >< Christian and I slept in the same bed.
It was nice.
Friday:
Got up around 8-9 something. Wanted to go to the dealers room early to get a YAOI paddle. It turns out that they weren't selling them at the con. >< I cosplayed as a goth maid, Christian was Konta from lucky Star and Chris and Tiff dressed as characters from Harvest Moon. (I don't recall the character names.) We at in the food court pretty late so food wasn't an issue later. We got snacks from the vending mech. On Thursday me and Christian planed out what panels we wanted to go to.
We went to:
Axix Power Hetalia Fan Panle (We left early because it was crowed and Christian looked so board.)
Anime Musical (Was very interesting.)
Uncle Yo (Was very funny.)
The Yaoi Panel 18+ (*nose bleeds* Was great. We left early for the Guest Uncensored panel)
Guest Uncensored 18+(It sucked compared to last year. Only two guest showed up. ><
Also we went to the Yaoi video room. They ran My Sexual Harassment so we left for the Hentai room. The Hentai room was pretty fun.
The hotel grounds was so pretty. Especially the area we passed to get to the video rooms. Christian and I took a nice walk around the little body of water that is there. We saw ducks swimming. So cute. The frog sounds scared me. We had some really nice and romantic moments on the deck that over looked the water.
Saturday:
Christian and I didn't cosplay. Our costumes were to hot and annoying.
Panels we went to:
Psychology of Anime (We enjoyed it.)
Wii Got A Wii (Was okay.)
Anime/Manga Influence (Liked a lot. Missed Sailor Moon Universe for this.)
American Animation (Also liked a whole lot.)
Yuri Panel (Was interesting.)
Adult Swim Revolution (Once again was amazing. Stalked the panelists all day. They did like 4 other panels we went to that day.)
Christian and I ended up ordering food from the same place we went to on Thursday night. T_T I'm gonna stay away from pizza for a while. @_@ It can quicker than last time.
Even though it was raining, we took a nice walk near the water. The rain was cold and Christian hates cold, but he went with me anyway. He is so sweet.
Sunday:
We went to no panels. We spend all our con time in the dealers room. We only went there on Friday real quick. We bought lots of stuff. We (the group) left the con around 4PM.
Most of my money went to the Artist Alley. I bought like $60 if not more dollars worth of buttons. So worth it though. I was selling 12 cellphone charms at the Art Show. Before we left the con only one was left. Yay! I also got an email from someone who bought some of them. I need to reply.
Christian and I wanted to say hi and get pictures with the SMA crew
[link] , but anytime we saw them, we were busy. >< Missed our chance. Maybe next year.
