Notes: Aleena and Seryn are identical twins with Aleena being born last out of the two. Aleena and Seryn were born into a very rich and powerful pure Elven bloodline. Growing up, the two of were always rebellious and never really fit in with their family's aristocratic life style. When they were 100, they left for the human plane. Their family hated the idea, but let them go hoping that seeing how barbaric it is there will make them return home with a new found appreciation for their life there. Once in the human plane they felt more at home. They traveled all around the world together for 25 years.

One day they came upon the town of Sandpoint. There they ended up splitting up. Aleena ended up forming a party with some human travelers, Wolfe the fighter,  Cassandra the cleric, and Alex another fighter. The two said goodbye and Seryn went off to follow her own path. Aleena and her party had many grand adventures together in Sandpoint and became its protectors. She became lovers with her party member Alex and eventually she became pregnant with his child.

Alex and Aleena were excited about the baby. They even settled down in Sandpoint for her pregnancy. The next year and 10 months of their lives were filled with happiness and peace. As far as Aleena was concerned, it was the happiest period of her life. One day, very close to Aleena's due date she disappeared. It seemed as if she just suddenly decided to flee to her hometown of Soyrain. Aleena did not return to her hometown willingly. Her parents had a mysterious magic user collect her and her unborn child. Aleena's parents hated that their daughter breed with some race that was not Elven. She was held by force until she gave birth. Her parents made her chose either them her, family or her newborn daughter. She was shocked and appalled by her parents. In the end she chose her daughter. No matter how much it would hurt to lose her family, it would hurt more to abandon her sweet innocent little baby girl.

After choice they disowned her and drove her out of town. She took refuge in the forest that protected the town. She believed that the forest God, Ketephys would protect her and her daughter. One day while Aleena was trying to find the secret back way out of town she lost her footing near the river that flowed through the forest and fell in. The water's current was too strong and she was separated from her daughter. She searched and searched, but she could not find any sign of her beloved daughter. She prayed constantly to the god Ketephys for her to protect her child whether she live or if she had perished.

Aleena was broken. She felt as if part of her was torn away and fell into a deep depression. She stayed in the forest in a little shack she made. Eventually she found a way back to the human plane and discovered that a little over four years had passed in the human plane. She made her way back to Sandpoint. She found out that Alex spent years looking for her before finally moving on and that he now resides in a small town called Whisledown. She also learned that her sister still stops in town every now and then for leads on her sister. She was spotted by an old party member, Wolfe, but she quickly lost him.

Aleena set off to find Alex. When she got to Whisledown she asked around about Alex and found out where he lived. As she got close to the house she saw Alex. He was rocking a baby while a teenager played with a child and a woman in a chair fiddled with some metal. As she stared at the teenager, she quickly realized that she was her daughter. She snuck off. In town she asked about Alex and gathered information. She discovered that Alex was married and had a daughter with his wife. Her heart felt heavy. She felt like she had lost everything that mattered to her. She decided to leave without talking to Alex or her daughter and to stay away from them. She thought that they are better off without her.

She became deeply depressed. Regret and sorrow filled her soul. She drifted into the shadows and started to do unlawful odd jobs for money. She started off with stuff like digging up black mail on political figures or stealing valuable relics and evolved in to doing assassinations. She made a impressive reputation for herself in the underworld. and caught the eye of Lady Janna Smilos herself, the head of the Daggermark Assassins' Guild. Janna offered Aleena membership into the guild. Since Aleena had no real reason to decline because her morals became do tainted that she accepted. She is currently lives in the town of Daggermark, but has been seen in various places every so often. It's most likely that she's there for a job. Every now and then she will visit her daughter to make sure she's doing okay. Even though darkness resides in her, so does a little bit of light.
